In Pakistan, education in business and management is being offered at different levels, including college and university level both. Mainly, business is taught as an academic subject at the college level, it is often known as Business Studies, and normally revolves around the fundamentals of accountancy, marketing, organizational studies and economics.

At the university level, the students have an option to get a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management typically called BBA, BS A&F and BSs Economics. In Pakistan, a trend has been changing and many universities are offering specialized programs at an undergraduate level too such as Bachelors in Supply chain & operations, Management Information Systems and Data Science. Although the curriculum of these disciplines and the admission criteria vary from university to university. But in its true essence, the curriculum taught has to be approved by HEC.

On the other hand, at graduation and Post-Graduation level, more subject-specific programs are offered to pertain to marketing, HRM, finance, Data sciences and Economics which are rigorous and typically a pathway to nurture the existing subject speciality and skills.

However, in Pakistan, the study of Business and Management programs are not limited to college and university only. There are several institutes and online platforms which offer a blended education of Business and management such as Dig skills, Coursera and Edx.
